Annapuna

Our soft and compliant wool carpets named Annapuna are produced on the hillsides of the Himalayan, with the dramatic mountain peaks as an ever-present backdrop. The high-quality wool gives a warm and dense carpet and the relief cut pattern provides great expressivity and an almost three-dimensional effect. Some carpets have a touch of silk. The glossy silk provides more shine and adds greater contrast. The designs are inspired by the old Tibetan idiom, but also more European motifs are used. The carpets are knotted with great craftsmanship in Nepal, using an ancient technique with roots in Tibet and neighboring countries.
