Senneh, Doroksh & Kohi

Senneh is both a rare and sought after carpet of high quality. The design often uses rhombs and medallions and herati- and Mir-I-Botha-pattern are common. The spotted backside is a trademark of the Persian knot. The Doroksh are delicate carpets in muted colours also called: The decorater’s carpet, as the large size, the design and the versatile colours make them easy to place. Top quality materials and high knot density is distinguishing. A typical Doroksh has a repeated pattern and a large medallion on a red och cream bottom, framed by a row of borders. The designs are traditional and very detailed.
